This device is a tester used to measure the drag torque of vehicles placed on elevators, as well as the thickness difference DTV and end face runout LRO of brake discs. The device is easy to move and store. Measure the drag resistance of the wheels, as well as the DTV and LRO of the brake discs, while rotating the vehicle and brake discs in the forward/reverse direction while changing speed. Using a constant velocity universal joint (CVJ) to connect the motor drive shaft to the vehicle brake disc, achieving equal transmission of speed and torque, allowing for deviations between the motor drive shaft and the vehicle centerline, making equipment installation easier and more convenient, while ensuring accurate measurement.
The driving motor speed can be adjusted from 0 to 50RPM, achieving drag torque and DTV and LRO measurement of brake discs at different speeds. The measured values are saved in units of rotation angle, and can be browsed and analyzed according to the wheel angle. The software can also perform FFT analysis and order tracking analysis on the test values, providing reliable and beneficial analysis data for determining whether there is resonance between the test values and the braking components.
The brake jitter and noise involved in brake NVH are mainly caused by brake pressure fluctuations and brake torque fluctuations, among which the brake disc thickness variable DTV and end face runout LRO are key influencing parameters.
