5-minute quick test of MD-Han'i vehicle off-line AEB function

MD-Han'i, the world's first device specifically designed to fully test and validate AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking) systems in production facilities.

For quality control and assurance, MD-Han'i provides you with pass or fail test results within 5 minutes, passing UN152 ISO 19206-1:2018 standard testing to ensure production consistency. In Europe, the new General Safety Regulation 2022 (GSR2022) and the European Commission's UN152 will make AEB mandatory for all new cars from mid-2022.

With this in mind, production facilities around the world should now conduct routine sample testing of AEBs at the end of the production line. This is the most important as it ensures that the system operates as expected and complies with regulations.

With the end user in mind, we have designed and built a user-friendly self-contained kit in a single streamlined peli-case. What's more, it doesn't require any connection and can be installed into the vehicle and collect all the data within 5 minutes.

Traditionally this type of testing takes place on proving grounds, and we realized that space in factory facilities is often limited, so we created the Han'i solution with that in mind. AEB testing at the end of the line is now possible with only 30m of space. Another advantage of the MD-Han'i is that it can be tested in all weather conditions, making it the perfect solution for all end production facilities.

Additionally, our rugged, "ready to use" MD-VT-F ISO is a soft crash vehicle target designed to reproduce the rear of a vehicle and has a built-in radar reflector that can be used by AEB-equipped vehicles Automatic braking before a potential collision.

Steps:

• Mount the MD-Han'i on the passenger seat

• Place the GPS antenna on the roof

• Mount the monitor to the windshield

• Press the power button

• Drive towards MD-VT-F ISO soft target to simulate impact and activate AEB

• Outcome: Pass or Fail

After testing is complete, data reports are captured and automatically logged and backed up to the cloud/server. There is also the option to save to an SD card or get a printed copy of the test results through the all-in-one printing feature built into the MD-Han'i peli-case.

All results are accurate to 2 cm in position, and the test is so simple that anyone can do it by operating Han'i.

All the pre-work has been completed by our engineers with 17 years of experience in automotive testing. Users can get data or results that used to take an hour in just a few simple steps.
